Savoring Doggies and Donuts

What does six doggies plus six donuts equal? Dozens of fun! Over the beautiful and sunny weekend, Face and Marshall came to visit us for some BBQ action. They brought over Molly (German Shepard) and Bailey (Golden Retriever) to meet Simba, Sophie, Beau Paddington and Cocoa Bean for a doggie play date comprised of half a dozen doggies. They also brought over half a dozen fresh donuts from Fonuts, a Los Angeles donut shop encouraging us to call these dough confections a faux donut or fonut since they are steamed and/or baked, never fried. After the awesome dinner that my bf cooked for us, we all shared the Chocolate Cream Filled, Cinnamon Sugar, Blueberry Earl Grey, Bacon Covered, Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting Sprinkles (my favorite) and Lemon Glazed flavors. Where the doggies outnumbered the humans in the house (as usual), it was their party and there was never a dull moment and like the donuts, we savored every bit of it.

Doggies and donuts – a great combination! You were making my biped feel hungry till she got to “bacon covered” when she said “yuck!” – but that sounds really interesting to me.

I said “yuck” too lol! I don’t eat meat except from the sea, so I didn’t try it… my pups were eying it, but since my vet said they were all being Fatsoes, they’re on diet to loose some lbs. I bet they’d love to meet you 🙂 Whenever people come over, they know it’s their party.
