Can you be infatuated with one aspect of some one, but not be very fond of other aspects? I often find myself so in love with Rihanna’s fearless and edgy style and how no matter the new daring outfit she’s in or how often she changes her hairstyle, she is always captivating. Behind the photos, and underneath the clothes and without all of the glitz and glamour; however, there is a real person with feelings and thoughts. I don’t know Rihanna personally, (although I have seen her a few times dining at my favorite Restaurant, Giorgio Baldi), but I can’t help but wonder about her personal life, mostly pertaining to her now very public relationship with Chris Brown, who a few years ago famously physically assaulted her. Usually, if some one, whose style I adore also happens to be really sweet or likable, I favor them even more. Does it; however, also work the other way around? Can we like some one less for an opinion about something that is really none of our business? I am still inspired by Rihanna’s ever evolving style, I still enjoy grooving to her music (and Chris Brown’s for that matter), and I still root for her continual success. Still, there is a part of me that doesn’t agree with her choice of getting back into a potentially dangerous relationship. While there countless photos of Rihanna in super cute ensembles and show stopping numbers sporting black and white, I suppose outside of outfits in monochrome, nothing in life is ever truly black or white.
